Filming and Editing

We started filming for the video about a month ago and the shots we have got have been really successful. so far we filmed scenes of "Katy" running away, sitting in fast food restaurants, throwing money, drinking and singing into the camera whilst wearing various different outfits like a wedding dress, bright quirky clothing. so far all filming has gone well and we have even started to edit the clips by matching them up to the song, the editing began well but recently has become very difficult as we can't seem to lock clips down so they stop moving along the time line when another clip is added.

Ancillary task 1

For one of the two ancillary tasks we need to complete we chose to create the poster for the release of the song and video. As we are recreating Katy Perry' s, Waking Up In Vegas song we wanted to have a colourful and quirky but edgy style to the poster. the picture we used of  "Katy" was from shots we took whilst we filmed, as it looks like she is waking up, we then edited the dress and lips in the image from blue to pink so it tied in with the pink lights in the background of the poster. we also used a Polaroid frame to make it seem like a snapshot from an adventure in Las Vegas. I'm pleased with the out come of the poster, i think it's eye catching, fun and evokes the right mood that we wanted.
